I'm in the 4 crowd. Nothing here screams 5 let alone 6. No tarsal staining. He doesn't sit way back on his hooves. Doesn't have that roman nose. Not much of swayed back. front knees don't look calloused or swollen. There are many missing characteristics that I usually see in 5-6 yr old deer that I don't see here. I see a well developed brisket, the beginnings of a belly, and a little bit of chin flab. If there were no antlers in the picture, just a body I think more folks would be in the 4 crowd as well.

This. And to me a 4 year old looks longer than most. That’s because he has grown in size but hasn’t developed the girth. But with all of this said without history it’s still a guessing game. This deer has the potential to really blow up in another year if range conditions and nutrition is in his favor.
