    Best Casino/Food Bossier City

My daughters competing in a cheer comp in a few weeks and looking for best casino in Bossier City. Only place I've been was 8 years ago and was the Horseshoe, any advice would be greatly appreciated. My family doesn't gamble but I like to play a little table games. Wife and daughter more interested in the buffet. Lol

I live in Marshall and haven’t been to the boats since covid but the Horseshoe has always been the more upscale casino in that area. That being said, Margaritaville is the most recently built and isn’t bad.
I know the steakhouse at the Horseshoe and the one at the El Dorado are good but I haven’t been to any of the buffets. Outside of the casino the Shreveport-Bossier City area has just about any type of food you could want.

Park at bass pro and you have easy access to the boardwalk and margaritaville casino. Lots of neat shops and places to visit on the boardwalk. Joe’s Crab Shack, hooters and salt grass steakhouse to name a few. I go at least once a month to get out of the house. Takes 30 min for me to get there

Not casino but The Blind Tiger on the Shreveport side is an awesome place to eat. Its just across the bridge from Bass Pro.

I typically go to Eldorado. And their steakhouse is pretty good. It’s been several years since I’ve been though

Horseshoe is the nicest casino in Shreveport IMO. Used to go to margaritaville but horseshoe is a lot nicer. The restaurants in margaritaville are good. There is a Asian one and I think it’s jack daniels place. Both are real good and I’ve heard good things about the steak house. The buffet were subpar and nothing special. All pre Covid

The sushi place across from Bass Pro is pretty good and Horseshoe is by far the nicest casino with Margaritaville is second.

Another recommendation for The Blind Tiger.

We stayed at Margaritaville the last few times, not as old and nasty as the others with all the cigarette smoke. Food was just ok, I prefer to drive to Blind Tiger. Very good food.

If you want to drive a little for a hole in the wall lunch, Herby K’s has the best shrimp Po boy I’ve ever experienced.

I second Margaritaville as the nicest casino, if you want great food drive to Ernest's Orleans, it’s only 5 minutes from the Casinos.
