    Pecan pie with fighting cock whiskey

    2 cups karo syrup
    3 cups white sugar
    6 eggs
    2 cups pecan
    1 cup semisweet chocolate
    1 tbs vanilla
    4 tbs butter
    2 thin pie shells or 1 deep
    Bake 375 1 hour on a baking sheet with foil liners

    Serve hot with scoop of ice cream pour rum or fighting cock whiskey on to taste
