Simple. Beer and flour mix to consist. Not to runny. Salt pepper. Dip onion rings and deep fry

my favorite is to use bisquick, follow recipe on box only changing water for beer.

do you ever add sugar to sweeten? i thought sweet onions would have sweeter taste like sweet corn bread.

I have never tried to add sugar but do add garlic powder to the mix and turns out well have tried garlic salt but comes out a little too salty.
might have to try sugar.

Don Chucks onion ring mix. Great for all things fried. onions, mushrooms, fish, etc.

i used flour, baking powder, everglades seasoning and beer. it was to salty. that is why i was asking about sugar.
