About to try ram meat! LIVE!!

I’m currently cooking 1lb of red sheep ram meat for tacos as the first test. Here goes nothing. Up next is pan sausage.

That’s the plan. Lol. Honestly it’s delicious so far. I’m cooking the pan sausage without seasoning. Wrapping up these tacos and going for it.

Did you let it drain/age first? But yeah there's a barnyard smell to their fat.

So I will say it is edible. But not enjoyable. BUT at least I can say I tried it. There is a flavor to the meat that is similar to the smell while cooking it. I can’t put my finger on it but it’s kinda baaaaaaaadddd.

I have made pan sausage from Corsican rams before and also jerky,, the sausage was so good a bunch of city girls at a law firm came back for more,, the jerky I had to hide when I took it or I did not get any ,, it was great...
