He decided to let them swim in a brine last night at the bottom of the fridge.

    Water, salt and apple juice

bury em over hot coals. You can look up how to do it. My dad and grand dad used to do it a lot.

A buddy of mine hit several a little bigger than that when we were in college. We buried them and let them cook over night. We all got a little drunk and nobody got up. His dogs dug em up and ate all of them.

Got out of class and pulled them out of the brine.

Patted them dry and applied a BBQ rub.

Poured some fresh apple juice and butter in a clean pan and added the piglets.

Sealed with foil and placed on the grill to steam/cook them.

After an hour in the pan, he pulled them out, added a touch more rub and placed them directly on the grill to get a crust

He said they all loved and cleaned their plates.

They loved the slight sweetness from the apple juice. He said the meat was also very juicy.

And they didn't need BBQ sauce to cover any bad flavors.

Now they want to get back out to shoot more and do it again
