That one has been eating well, if it was a good bit longer, I would be interested. I guess I could feed it for a while and let it grow till it got to the size I am looking for. I don't think my wife would go for that. I have three in the freezer, been wanting to get a big one, to add to the collection. I want to get the hides tanned, then use them in some projects.

Great for dog training, taxidermist friend used ti keep snakes u til they shed to mount for competition. Due to excellent skin after shedding.

I relocate them when it convenient.

Last one I caught I put in a 5-gallon bucket and walked about 20' away to get a lid. When I got back to the bucket he was gone.

Unfortunately, he was in a stack of straw bales under the plastic, and he went back into the bales.

Around here snakes love to get between bales.

They actually make great gifts for someone who is interested in herpetology or a snake as a pet. Easy to maintain, and if you decide you no longer want it, release it in the woods and not risking introducing an invasive species like burmese pythons.

Last one I dealt with wiggled up to a brush blind I was bow hunting. When it got 3 feet from my boots I leaned over and said "hay" it stopped and kinda looked up and I said "go away and I will not kill you" it turned right and went away...
