Kind of a tradition, started my oldest son off with shooting corn bags as a target at his papa’s place in cuero. He was six when he shot his first deer with a .223 and my old Simmons wide angled scope that I shot my first deer with. My oldest got two does this weekend already, kill number 36 and 37.

My youngest is 7 and just got back from shooting the ole corn bag. Hopefully the stars align and it happens this evening.

Thanks everyone. Super proud, little guy has been back and forth on shooting. Didn’t want to push him, he was adamant this evening. Worked out great. Couldn’t be more blessed to have the opportunity. Now I have 4 deer on ice.
