Texas right to work state has nothing to do with topic:

"Texas is a right-to-work state. This means that under the Texas Labor Code, a person cannot be denied employment because of membership or non-membership in a labor union or other labor organization"

I think they meant to say Texas is an employment at will state. A Texas employer can terminate an employee for any reason at anytime as long as it is not discriminatory or retaliatory.
