Got tired of packing around old disc stand and propane bottle. Wanted to upgrade disc as the 24” plow disc I have wasn’t deep enough for frying large amounts of food. Found an old tank end, fabricated this stand with wheels and cooking table. Tank end is 24” but deep. Burner is 10” jet and outside ring is 16” oilfield pipe. Let’s are 1.5” and 1/4” thick. It will boil in a couple minutes. I built is so it can roll around with the propane bottle and tank end on the unit while transporting. It’s a beast.

Probably leverage to tip back to move it around. That's a nice cooker. We'll done.

Thanks guys. Yes the tall bar is leverage to assist when moving around. I can easily tip and move around loaded with all the equipment with one hand. Everything stays cradled and stable.

Fajitas on bbq and then into burner with onions jalapeños and little oil. Same for chicken wings.

That is a sweet setup. I have access to a plw disc one that we use for cooking at work and golf tournaments and it really is a pain to lug it around.

I would love to have something like this one. Great job!!

Thanks Mike. Yes sir, got tired of packing tank, stand, disc, etc. Built this one heavier and the disc is heavier, so I knew it was going to be a mobile unit. Cook on her several times and she gets hot quick and is ease to move around. Fried pork chops last night.

With the long table and the high rack on that side is it “tipsy” on that side?

Not at all. Very stable, extension tray is 20”x18” and cold roll is 3/4”. With a bottle of gas the weight of the tank end, heavy gauge square tubing and the wide stance you can’t knock it over. I built it so it would take a bunch of deer lease drunks bumping into it, so the tank end would be cradled and secured (not spill hot grease on anyone) and the stand if heavy enough to not move. It is well balanced and moves good, but it takes a solid pull with both hands to tip it back. Weight is loaded on the two front feet.

Ok cool. I was going to suggest adding some legs on that side to prevent it fro
Tipping over but if it is stable then it doesn’t need it. I think I am going to do something similar.
