                Yes he was.

I still have the 48-star American Flag I had at the stadium at the inaugural Pat Tillman game.

God bless Pat and all who served and made the supreme sacrifice.

                    Pat Tillman update

When a man evaluates his life, this is the measuring stick. No matter how successful one is, no matter how selfless one lives, I’ll never measure up to a man like Pat Tillman. I hope he’s sitting up in heaven and knows the legacy he left behind. RIP Sir

I think of Cpl. Tillman often and read his Wikipedia page to remember him and and honor his legacy.

It makes me no difference if it was friendly fire or not. He was doing his duty. He died a hero! I hope you go wave that flag, it would be great to know we have someone there to show our support.

A thread like this -- recognizing a true hero annually-- makes me proud to be part of this site. Thanks Bill, as well as all who have served. Gets dusty just reading through this. Pat Tillman was the real deal.

If you ever get a chance to go to an AZ Cardinals game. The statue and the recognition given to the man is amazing. Every Fan gives him the upmost respect.

I wish his life was preserved and rather not taken how he was.
