First Duck Hunt on New Property

I have wrapped a lot of things in bacon, marinated and smoked the rest of what wasn't wrapped. Those mergansers are terrible. We soaked them in ice salt water and changed the water out everyday. They still taste rank (to put it in G rating)They make excellent wall décor for sure.

Good to know. Those are the only 2 i have this season so hopefully mixed in with all the ducks i shoot they wont be to bad in sausage. But ill have to keep them separate from now on.

I love those type of pond hunts! So much fun! Even better on your own property!! Now you can dig in, build several blinds for different winds and whammo, you got them!! Post updates as you do more!
