I just finished ordering a 60" Black Hunter Longbow from Twig Archery. Been hearing and seeing so much positive information on that bow I just had to have one and the investment is not substantial at all. If I don't like it, I should be able to sell it fairly easily. My biggest concern is the draw weight not being accurate. I asked John Twig for a 47 or 48 @28. Reportedly, he will scale them before shipment.
I'm kind of skeptical of draw weights now. Just bought a new to me 1993 Howatt Hunter. A totally beautiful purpleheart striped bow that looks like it was never fired. Shows to be 50 @ 28. Somebody really missed the mark on that one. It feels more like 60 lbs than 50.
