Ours was a hen. I believe 6 of the 7 were hens and they were wanting to find out the harvest rate thinking most people don’t kill hens during deer season and they’re off limits in the spring. Found the band afterwards and then had the *** is this moment. Lost a trail camera and found it like 6 months later on a trail. Actually got a pic of 9 birds in a row and could see two of them banded.

Was that a rio or an eastern? I killed a banded Eastern here in Louisiana national forest a few years back.

That's cool, I've never seen a money band on any bird and I've killed truck loads of birds. I have caught many salmon though that have had $5 and $10 tags on them.

We went to the lease this weekend to do some turkey hunting and my son and daughter both were lucky enough to have successful hunts. And when I checked my camera look what I found
