Still praying... any update on the father-in-law? Sure hope he defeats the odds and pulls through. That's what I am praying for in any case. I KNOW it's possible. God CAN do it if He wills.

not much change for my FIL. They did remove the arm restraints yesterday and he immediately reached up and tried to pull his breathing tube out which shocked the doctors that he did such a deliberate move. Brain Surgeon came in yesterday and said they needed to wait 3 days and will try and do surgery to repair the skull fractures and remove any blood clotting around the brain.

My MIL is doing great and has been moved out of ICU.

update on my FIL:

the family has decided due to the quality of life John would have even on the best scenario it is not near what he would want, that we are not going to try anymore procedures. Not sure when we will actually take him off life support but it will be in the next several days.
