    Garage Door Cable Replacement

Trying to find a replacement cable for a fourteen foot garage door. Looking to see if there is a garage door supply type store in Houston area that I can take the broken cable to so they can see exactly what I need in terms of length and fittings. Thanks in advance.

In my opinion you should just call a company.

            Unless it’s already broken

Call a GD company, your chin will thank you.

Those big springs are spooky when they are old and rusty and starting making noises taking the pressure off.

Home Depot sells all the parts you need. The springs are color coded so Mack sure you get the correct ones. It's not that hard to fix.
