How does a company with an EPS of between zero and negative $15 per share over the past 4 years, coupled with zero - negative EBITDA/Distributable Cash conjure up a $29Billion market cap?

Total Assets are barely $10B, with $13 Billion in Liabilities. No equity, no cash flow, fubar competition and changing market, but still worth $29B

This is worse than GME in my opinion....... Gambling at its finest.

Who knows? Maybe when you get enough to pay for a few turkey hunts. It is definitely a gamble. I've heard some say it will go to the $200's and others say $1,000. Tough to say but fun to watch the ride. I'll be ahead when the rollercoaster stops but maybe not by much.

I was at work when a coworker of mine got a call, he said one of his friends told him to jump on AMC ASAP. My friend told me that his friends leads pan out like 20% so he didn’t buy any AMC stocks. Sure enough it went up and his buddy is up 55k.

Closed at $64.87 today. Up 102%. Not bad for a crappy company lol. But it isn't about the company itself. It is about the hedge funds shorting the stock and social media trying to use their leverage to run up the STONKS. Who knows where it goes but it is interesting. To the moon!

Trading has less to do with what a stock is worth and more to do with being able to figure out what social media will push. It's all messed up now LOL

Pumpers always put out super high targets just to get people FOMO so they buy. If anyone actually holds AMC waiting for it to hit $1,000 they are plain dumb. $200 is possible if it happens this week but that's insane. Company is worth near zero.

Maybe Bitcoin taught all these people how to trade and make something with no value, valuable

I just cant invest any money in these “Vegas” stocks. Im sure there will be those that make a fortune off them but some will also be left holding an empty bag

I'm just adjusting my stop-loss order every day or even during the day today. If it goes below where I'm comfortable I sell. If it keeps going higher, I ride it to the moon lol.

I had some PENN last spring when they bought out BarstoolÖgot in from $7 - $13 a couple different times

I sold at $70ish, bought a few guns, and then it skyrocketed to $140Ömissed out on quite a bit of cash

Iím trying not to be too greedy but there may be an opportunity to make silly money on this one

I sold 100 shares yesterday at $60 and made a good profit. Iím playing with house money now. I have all this in my Roth IRA and made some pre COVID plays on things I knew would bounce back after this BS went away and itís paid off so far. I started with $57,000 and was at $94,000 yesterday. Itís not profit until I sell. The only thing I regret is not selling GME at $350. I just took my profits and am buying some CCIV because they have interest in Lucid motors an luxury electric car company. Itís all a gamble.

AMC is having a rough day today. Down 30% to mid/upper 40's. That level of volatility is the equivalence of the roulette table in Vegas. Not saying good or bad, just be fully aware of the risks before "spinning the wheel".

My nephew is always flat broke. What's happening is these young people are reading Redditt and other groups and believing that if they hold it will go to $1,000 Diamond hands, crush the heggies, all that BS

It's insane because they have so many followers they are moving things that never before could be moved this high.

Anyway, my nephew went from owning/having nothing to "investing" his free stimulus to over $30k yesterday. He swears he won't even think about selling until $400 LOL

Good luck to them. They need to run up silver like that!

Alright.... I am in

Tired of sitting on the side lines with this stuff while buddies are knocking it out of the park. Know a couple guys mixed into the AMC game that are sitting on borderline life changing money that are in the same boats as others and not selling until that stuff is in the mid to high hundreds lol

Currently trying to consolidate 401k's and working from there.

You're in what? AMC?

Pro-tip, easy money was made long ago. Not saying it can't run higher but it ran up 1,000% already (just this last run). Once everyone like TBHers hear about a pick like this then who's left to hear about it and buy? I don't know anyone in their right mind buying AMC at $50 except daytraders who can watch every second.

No just "in" in general. I might get some AMC but I just need to start playing the overall game period.

With the Biden administration announcing they would rely on offshore sourcing of Lithium for American car batteries I am try to decide whether to keep these stocks.

LIT - Global X Lithium & Battery Tech ETF
Holdings in China, South Korea, USA, Japan & Chile

LAC - Lithium America Corp
Holding in USA & Argentina

ABML - American Battery Metals Corporation

I would keep this one and might get rid of the other one depending on how much I had and what I paid. I might use some of that money to buy more LAC if it went below $10

kudos to those who get in early. I'm far too disciplined and risk averse to chase momentum and there are a lot of people that are going to get wrecked buying at the top. this speculative mania in my view is a sign of a very dysfunctional political/economic system. I'm very well hedged for a broader devaluation of the currency, but none of that will matter if the fabric of society falls apart. I see so much risk out there. Always remember, it's just a paper gain until a security is sold.

My paper hands got the best of me yesterday. I set some stop losses to keep a nice profit and was going to buy some more if AMC headed lower. But it went back up before I could get it at a comfortable to me price. Oh well. Can't look a gift horse in the mouth. Hope it doesn't cost me a small island one day lol.

Absolutely wrong sort of thinking. You won. There will be many who lose playing this game. If everyone won, there would be no private islands left. The value of money would cease to exist.

795k have been covered according to s3 data and thatís in the past 30 days doubtful they were covered within the past 2 weeks. ! People are on the fence about s3 so if you dont agree with it please provide your source! And i agree with you they will continue to short to pay for the interest. Luckily the ceo goals are to get the company out of debt and release additional 11 millions shares which drove the price down and helped out the short sellers. Deep pockets will be the insurance pay out when they canít cover all this interest and short sells!! And why so much resistance with amc you got some skin in the short sell game?
