Anyone still doing well? I tried my hand on a couple of purchases when everything tanked, but now they're not doing so hot. I haven't lost big, but I've lost what I gained when I first bought.

You donít gain or loose until you sell. If bought solid companies sometimes just have to hold.

Agreed, and I'm still holding them. Just thinking about cutting my current losses and looking elsewhere.

Sold my United today, I made an original profit and then bought back in. Sold for a loss. Quickly reinvested and made that money back, although at the same time I did that I purchased another stock and lost money pretty quickly, basically a wash. This market is crazy. Right now all of the electric vehicles/Green companies have been doing pretty well for me.

I am just going to hold on to what I have. Some are still up. Some down slightly. If they all go down then I will buy more as they fall and hold for the long term in hopes they go back eventually. I do not have much invested anyways.

I’m holding my current portfolio. Been pretty happy with it. Up about 29-30% since end of March with ~25 positions. Only about 2 in the red barely but they are longer holders that I’m waiting for some specific things to happen that would make them take off. Staying pretty diversified and been good so far. Some over 100% gain and some only a few points, but moving right direction. Hardest thing is checking it often and seeing other good buys. Just trying to hold is hard but best!

Up about 40% overall so far. I left my big account at Edward Jones alone for now and took a lot of money sitting in cash and started swing trading it. I fully expect to be 100%+ within two more months. IF that holds I will likely take my initial investment back to my cash savings and keep playing with house money.

I didn’t get started as early as I should have. If I got going in March my returns would have been stupid good

Pulled out of Delta today. It was my big player that just hasn’t taken off like I thought it would. I think it will be a long time before airlines are back to normal.

I’ve been typical momentum “Robinhood” trading the last 3 weeks and it’s been the funnest, as well as the most productive I have done. It may bite me at some point but for now, I’m just riding waves for a few days and selling then getting in something else.

I donít have enough cash to buy some of the more ďpriceyĒ stocks, so Iíve been playing with stocks under $10.
Made 100% on Aurora Cannabis
50% on Outlook Therapeutics
50% in Cinemark

Just used my stimulus money. Basically an educated casino, but my money is lasting way longer lol. I love playing with house money. Only one that makes me sick is one I bought at less than $10 a year ago
and now itís at $100 and rising. Such is life.

I’m still holding XPSA, was up almost 300% and didn’t sell (probably dumb at the end of the day) but think it will pop back up very soon. Waiting on more PR in the next couple of week. They are doing COVID testing at airports.

I play with the same money and wait until the end of the year and get the summary. Only pay on what your sales and the earnings and losses. Then I make turbo tax premium figure it out.

As a new investor I have a small fund pool to play with. Saying that my focus has been on OTC, yes, I know before everyone blasts me. BUT, I have been able to capitalize on 186% profit from 1, 86% on another and 27% on the last effectively quadrupling my account in less than 2 weeks. $1200 last week, $400, and $412 today in last 30 minutes. If I would have purchased SRNE back in February when I first put it on my watch list I would be sitting almost $10k up today. But, as many others I have a hard time committing on hunches. Same with Heat Biologics.

I need to get back into the OTC game. A long time ago I was good at it...Then went to big cap stocks. Since everything's rigged it seems now may as well go back to OTC.

Where do you get your info?

Just look at history and read what the company is in to. Lost my *** on Sigma Labs, 3D printing quality program but made bank on SRNE and HWKE.

As I am in the DoD field I tend to look at companies who have Gov't contracts or SBIRs.

I do a lot of my trading in an IRA so don't have to pay taxes on the gains. If I know it's going to be a quick trade where I get in & out in a couple of days or if it's a penny stock or if it's a high risk trade, I'll trade that in my regular account. From there all tax software (turbotax or taxcut) can usually pull those in and automatically calculate the tax man's money. That allows me to claim both gains and losses with taxes.

Here's a couple of stocks that benefit from what may be our new normal:

SQ has been on a great run lately. As more businesses go online or mobile, this could be an innovator in the online payment space. It's had a big run recently and their PE ratio is very high so it may be too late to jump in this one.

CWH (Camping World) has also done well with everyone buying RVs so they can still travel and still socially distance from others. We just spent 3 weeks traveling with our travel trailer. I could work from where we parked it. Got to go to Louisiana, Alabama, Florida and back. This is my 2nd trailer and I've had one for years, but others are buying for the first time and need all the latest gadgets for their new trailers.

Others like WGO, THO, MBUU, MCFT may be work a deeper look as well in the camping/boating stocks.

Could have done the same with CWH. Buy at $5 in April at almost $35 today. Makes sense in this socially distance world as well. TSLA on the other hand doesn't offer much benefit right now with gas prices at 1.79/gallon.

Can't worry about missing NVAX Company sucks.. It's always just been a trading stock for pump and dumps.

Lots and lots of junk stocks going up 100-1,000% Markets are nuts. I'm in AKER, CLBS, and LIFE All 3 of these should be issuing a PR about their COVID trials... Hoping it happens soon and they run up 100-300% It's gambling...but been paying off.
