Default Who is Rescheduling International Hunting Trips?

So RAS is on day 1 of 21 day internal lock down. Flights were suspended last week. Was booked to go in July and Spain in Dec. Not sure what will happen now.

I do think if I can make it to RSA late summer there will be some good deals secondary to low volume and high supply. My PH said expect the best deals they have ever offered to entice folks to come.

Also, wondering what prices locally on deer and exotics will look like this summer and fall. I'm thinking there might be some great opportunities available.

My son's European soccer tournaments got cancelled so I'm open in July. Hoping for a last minute sweet deal on a RSA hunt. Figured I could afford to take the family this time provided it opens back up by then

If this clears up and the Rand gets weaker against the dollar there will be some bargains in RSA. Some of the small outfitters may not make it through this. Glad I procrastinated and donít have any deposits lingering out there.

I canít believe they are cancelling hunts that are scheduled for late May. I have an Alaska brown bear hunt last week in May. Outfitter says so far itís still on. If we are still dealing with this in late May then we have lit more to worry about than cancelled hunts.

I saw quite a few discounted hunts on bookyourhunt.com in the discount section. Might be a good time to scoop one up.

Made it back from Limpopo RSA March 1 before this broke loose. PH has been emailing me some smoking deals, Cape Buffalo $7500 no size limit on on the edge of Kruger, $4k 40” sable. Plus the Rand is low to the dollar. Good deals will be had in the future but who knows when this will open up and airfare could be crazy expensive going forward. My RT airfare to JB from Houston for$715 is a thing of the past I would bet.

I was supposed to be in Saskatchewan last week on a black bear hunt. It got rescheduled for September...if that doesn't work, then it'll be May 2021. Had to put a 50% deposit down that I can't get back so I'm hoping I'll get to go one of those times.

Yes, going to be a severe reduction in global outfitters when this virus finally clears out. It is a tough business and this dang sure dont help them. YES the deals will interesting........as being noted by others. We are getting incredible packages from outfitters in southern africa for our postpostend SCI Banquet in Houston. I suspect the folks that can travel when this is over are going to be very happy.
I am a member of Global Rescue and monitor what they recommend medically & politically for multiple places I would like to bowhunt. My hunt and other European family vacation trips are postponed. I dont need to press my luck.
Zambia Croc and hippo are postponed until all clear.
Saskatchewan whitetail and cinnamon black bear should be good but I am good with waiting if that happens.
Michigan "Legends Ranch" whitetail hunt should be good but not high on my list of gotta deaux for this fall.
