Default Snakes last meal

My buddy Jason over at the H4 ranch was putting his tractor up and came across this fella.
Last meal was a super sized hill country rock squirrel

I killed a chicken snake once, several years ago, that had three baby rabbits in its stomach. Each rabbit was about as big as a half grown squirrel.

The snake was not harmed. It was released to the wild after the pictures were taken.

Would/could the squirrel meat make you sick from the snake venom?

That's the type of rattlesnake I want to see if I have to run into one.

fat and sluggish. Gives me a fighting chance too!

We killed this 80" rattle bug outside San Angelo years ago. That's a “full grown” west Texas jackrabbit he had for his last meal.
