My First of 2018
I've sat a few nights without any sightings, yet I get game cam pics of a yote visiting our small place. Last night, after a musical jam session, I decided to sit again. At 10:55, this female came in and I popped her with a 22LR. This morning, I went out to find her and she had gone into thick brush about 20 yards from where I shot her. One down, unknown how many more to come!

I have never really hunted coyotes.
Looking for advice on y’alls setups.
I have a pulsar thermal and foxpro inferno.
Curious on how far to sit from the call. Would a pasture be better or sendero.
How long do you stay in the location and what calls are best?

Give me a little bit and hopefully I'll have one to add. I just peppered one with the shotgun at 50 yards. Called her in,in about 15 minutes and she saw me. Turned to run and I sent a few loads of BB's her way. I don't know if she'll die or not so I can't count that one.Comment
