Just read last 10/15 post on thread, have to agree.... really f;**** weird to post a deer like that on a site full of people that do hunt and say itís not your deer to hunt. Also thinking this deer might not be ďjumping a fenceĒ in any direction

Beautiful deer though, Iím with the mid 180ís group. Has no 4ís so have to score him as a 8 with 1.5Ē 4ís takes a lot of trash to put a 150Ē 8 in the 190/200ís group. And this poor deer is pushing 4,,,???? Iíd love a spot on this lead if it is low fence

What do you consider a normal hunter.
Letting another person run cams on their feeder.... hell, if I have a good one coming in and unable to hunt that weekend Iíll call my neighbor and let him know which stand of mine to use, and he does the same for me.

OP - thatís an awesome deer !!!

Not sure why the elitist bow guru is even interested. Hes said so many times how boring it is to hunt Texas whitetail and has no interest in it. But yet here he is running his mouth as usual

X2...

And I'm sure one of our CSI caliber detectives with track this deer down based on the detailed map provided of central Texas and angle of the shadow from the feeder...

I think all post so far are well short. I am judging using body size of bucks here in La.
If he's a Hill Country buck, I doubt he weighs anywhere close to 200. One HECK of a great buck, regardless. But they're jackrabbit bodies in the Hill Country. A pic of him alongside a doe would help get some perspective on size.

Will this guy be bow hunted or shot with a smoke pole? hopefully he keeps being a regular customer at that feeder, and isn't one of those ghost deer once the season opens.

It basically guy code. You donít **** your friends wife. And you donít post pics of your friends deer on the internet.

And secondly. I have no idea who you are and have never seen a single helpful bowhunting post you have made. You seem to know a lot about me tho? Weird?

Awesome buck. I for one appreciate getting to see this buck! Thanks for posting and good luck to the lucky hunter. Please post LDPs and score whenever he gets ground checked. That is great that your buddy lets you run a camera out there. I don't see it as weird at all. Sounds like a great friend. I also don't see why posting it on the internet is an issue. You gave a radius of about 400 miles. If you gave where the deer pics were taken, yea it would be a problem. As is, keep the pics flowing!

I can understand why you think that. You hunt for the most part pretty large ranches and some of them are high fenced. The problem comes in when someone is hunting a smaller place. Letís say 250 acres. To me itís weird. I just stated that I thought it was weird and the OP decided he needed to be an *** about it. Iíve had multiple pms from people saying they think itís weird also.

That said Iím out on the thread because I donít really care. I think itís weird but to each their own. Great buck op hope your friend and not the neighbors kill him.

I agree with this as well. I donít understand why anyone is making a big deal out of this. Itís a once in a lifetime animal and Iím glad you are sharing it for us to see. If someone has an issue with it thatís their problem.

I can't understand what is so weird about this. He posted a pic of a massive deer. I would understand having an issue if OP gave a good idea of location, but he gave half of the state of texas as the general location. Thanks for sharing, seeing bucks like this is nice.. Keeps that dream alive of coming across a low fenced monster!

Part of the fun of running cameras has always been sharing pictures. I love coming on here and seeing pictures of truly remarkable deer alive on the hoof and reading about the anticipation of hunting those deer. There are a few people that have figured out exactly where I hunt. Thatís why the last couple years Iíve been reluctant to post much from my cameras out at deer camp. And itís not that any of those people are untrustworthy. I just donít want the added attention. Itís a shame really.

That is an awesome buck and hopefully someone will get him on the ground. I will have to second that it is a bit weird to have a camera on an area you can't hunt. Typically if you have friends that are letting you place cameras they don't mind if you hunted it as well. Otherwise there wouldn't be much of a reason to have a camera up. I can look at big buck pictures on google all day without going through the hassle of buying/placing cameras just to not be able to go after the thing. Nobody is saying you don't have permission to have a cam there they are just saying it isn't your typical situation. Everyone needs to just chill out.
