First favorite photo with new camera body

Sold a couple of camera bodies, a lens and couple of other things to bring the Sony A1 to the house. My first favorite image. Low angle on low flying bird. The ground is close but what is seen in the background is the ground further back behind the bird due to the angle.

A juvenile sharp-shinned hawk that has been visiting my backyard bird feeders.

Wow. Awesome shot as usual. Thank you for sharing.

I was interested enough in photography to buy myself a mirrorless Canon and a couple lenses a while back. Just never could dive into it as i was overwhelmed with how much i have to learn. These pics are discouraging As an intermediate guitarist, I get a similar feeling listening to SRV.

Good gear in the hands of someone who knows how to use it is pretty sweet. Great shot, Bill!

There is lots of great videos on YouTube, I tend to watch Tony and Chelsea Northrop when I need to figure something out. The books they have out are pretty good as well. Good Luck!!!!

"Understanding Exposure" Brian Petersen, get it. Read it with camera in hand.

Paul, it has my feeders pegged as a food source and this is the camera I told you about.

I wish I could afford to get back into photography sometime soon. The cameras have all gotten so dang good.
