Vacation Ideas

I'm looking for some vacation ideas. I'm turning 60 this year and want to do something different, but not hunting related.

What should I do?

Go to Scotland, Edinburg to be exact and tour the castles. Edinburg Castles is right on the North Sea, very cool environment and amazing history and stories. Also lots of stories about William Wallace in that area and the best fish and chips on earth.
Just a idea.

Drive to Alaska and go Halibut/salmon fishing.

Float Fly fishing trip in Colorado through the mountains. Went last summer and had a blast.
I recommend the Colorado Angler out of Silverthorne.

Wow, 66 hours of driving to get to Anchorage.

Fly to Spokane Washington and go to Glacier National Park, tons to do outdoors and a great drive.

Wow, 66 hours of driving to get to Anchorage.

About 35 years ago, before ol’ Al Gore invented this internet thingy, me and a buddy talked about driving to Alaska. Thought it was a great idea until we broke out the Atlas. We went hunting out near Abilene and then down to the Big Bend area instead. [emoji1787]
