Definitely not an ELDX. ELDX is a good bullet but the bullet pictured isn't one and an ELDX won't give you 2.5' of penetration on a big hog.

Yep classic jacket/core separation from the ELDX bullets.

Can you post a picture of the box? I’m with everyone else. For one the grooves in the shank are a dead give away that it is not an ELDX. Based on the 4 petals I would bet money that it’s a Barnes as a GMX has 6 petals when expanded.

Barnes bullets will have 3 cannelure grooves and I think GMX has only 2 grooves.

And looking closely it appears to have 3

To hell with the bullet. What was the cartridge? 300 yards on a good-sized hog with a 6.5. Was it Creedmoor or 260 or Lapua or what?

It was a Barnes LRX, y’all were right.
I had let my wife shoot it a couple of days before and she had loaded the last 127 gr Barnes loaded in the magazine. Sorry for being argumentative with y’all.

260 Ackley Improved built by Precision Barrel works.
