    Church key

Another thread got me to wondering/wandering...how many of you know what a church key is?

I am interested to know how many of you younger folks know. No googling allowed/aloud.

If you know, just say, "I know" but don't give it away.

That's all my Dad used to call it. Haven't heard that in years.

Do schools no longer teach reading comprehension?

One post is all it took…. This is why we can’t have nice things.

Well I know now because someone didn’t read the rules. I’m 25 and have never heard that before.

                    I know. But I’m not a youngster.

I think the church key was actually the opener for beer cans. Before pop tops.

Some people could screw up pre-sweetended Kool-Aid!!!

I knew what a church key was. Used to love when my granddad would let me "open" the cans of Quaker State when he was changing the oil in my grandma's Buick.

That’s what I think of. It was before my time (my beer drinking time anyway) but I remember from old movies guys asking for a church key to open their beers. Anybody remember when Coors came out with the two-hole push tabs back in the 70’s? I don’t think that lasted long
