12 more days till Cowtown. Got one more long run in the morning then some shorter maintenance runs until race day. I'm ready! Down 20 lbs now and counting.
Got it done this morning despite having a sinus infection threatening to take me down. Arms legs and back all got a little work, and had a few cardio and core rounds mixed in to spike the heart a little.
Legs and shoulders completed today. I'm thankful for a couple of rest days! Chest and biceps on Monday. Have a great weekend!

Finished out strength and agility week with lots of holds and burnout rounds Thursday and this morning. Some of my favorites:
20 seconds each excercise, 20 seconds between rounds, x3
Push up hold at bottom/push up pulse/full range push up
Curl hold/curl pulse/full range curl
OH hold/OH pulse/full range shoulder press
Rev lunge hold/rev lunge pulse/full range rev lunge
Back at it this AM! Sitting in the sauna after a solid chest workout! Switching up muscle groups and switching to a straight 1/2 pyramid set’s building weight.
Yesterday being a holiday, I slept in a little then hit the gym. I tore some stuff up for 2 hours. Chest and bicep supersets 5X5 with a bunch of ab work added in.
Today was back and leg supersets. 5X8 on legs and 3 sets of strip sets on back.
Front squat/landmines/incline situp
Sled leg press/overhead cable pull/ab roller
Leg extension/seated row inverse grip
Seated leg curl/lat pull down neutral grip
Chest and triceps supersets today. A mixture of 5X5 and strip sets.
DB chest press/skull crusher/incline sit up
Bench press inverse grip/overhead rope extension
DB fly/Cable pushdown pronated and supinated grip.
Push up/single arm cable pull down
