2022 Workout accountability...

    12 more days till Cowtown. Got one more long run in the morning then some shorter maintenance runs until race day. I'm ready! Down 20 lbs now and counting.

      Knocked out Bi’s this morning

      Going to transition away from timed sets to a 5x10 or 5x12 set up starting here in a few days and mix up muscle groups.

      Thinking a Arms, legs, cardio/core, chest, back, shoulders then repeat set up…. Might even sneak arms in twice a week….

        BB row pronated grip/leg extension/incline situp
        BB row supinated grip/sled leg press/ab roller
        Bodyweight pullup/prone leg curl/weighted crunch
        Bodyweight pullup neutral grip/Front squat

        Chest and triceps tomorrow

          Got it done this morning despite having a sinus infection threatening to take me down. Arms legs and back all got a little work, and had a few cardio and core rounds mixed in to spike the heart a little.

            Tomorrow is back or legs.... Maybe Both..?

            Will be out of town Sat-Mon so no gym those days but maybe some running at the ranch

              Got chest, triceps and biceps done this morning. A little ab work as well. 5X5 giant sets.

              Bench press/preacher curl/overhead cable extension/incline sit up
              Incline chest press/BB curl/weighted dip/ab roller
              DB fly/cable pushdown pronated and supinated/arm blaster
              Push ups/overhead cable curls/cable kickback strip sets

              Legs and shoulders for tomorrow.

                  Legs and shoulders completed today. I'm thankful for a couple of rest days! Chest and biceps on Monday. Have a great weekend!


                  Seated DB lateral raise/leg extension/incline sit up
                  Rear delt DB fly/sled leg press/ab roller
                  Shoulder press/front squat/ab crunch
                  Seated leg curl/DB shrug/DB chest press

                    Finished out strength and agility week with lots of holds and burnout rounds Thursday and this morning. Some of my favorites:

                    20 seconds each excercise, 20 seconds between rounds, x3
                    Push up hold at bottom/push up pulse/full range push up
                    Curl hold/curl pulse/full range curl
                    OH hold/OH pulse/full range shoulder press
                    Rev lunge hold/rev lunge pulse/full range rev lunge

                      Back at it this AM! Sitting in the sauna after a solid chest workout! Switching up muscle groups and switching to a straight 1/2 pyramid set’s building weight.

                        Yesterday being a holiday, I slept in a little then hit the gym. I tore some stuff up for 2 hours. Chest and bicep supersets 5X5 with a bunch of ab work added in.


                        Today was back and leg supersets. 5X8 on legs and 3 sets of strip sets on back.

                        Front squat/landmines/incline situp
                        Sled leg press/overhead cable pull/ab roller
                        Leg extension/seated row inverse grip
                        Seated leg curl/lat pull down neutral grip

                        Chest and triceps tomorrow.

                            DB chest press/skull crusher/incline sit up
                            Bench press inverse grip/overhead rope extension
                            DB fly/Cable pushdown pronated and supinated grip.
                            Push up/single arm cable pull down

                                I slept in today thinking it would be too messy outside to drive. I was mistaken. I shoulda got up and gone in. Definitely will tomorrow.
