    Rustic TV/Entertainment center

Wifey showed me a pic similar to this and asked to make it as wide as our TV and I said ok. Happy wife, happy life. I like spit balling projects and working it out as I go. Whatcha think?

Looks good, might consider some mesh screen in the outside bays if your going to place your receivers there. Didn’t see any holes in the middle bay and you can keep the doors closed that way.

The middle bays she didn’t want holes. That’s for “decor” she said. But yea, if needed, I’ll add holes later. Don’t need a DVD player. Use smart TVs throughout the house so no need.

              Thanks everyone!

What stain/finish did you use on it. I like it

Nice project, cool when you get to work on something you dig doing and it also results in a happy wife.

Black paint first, then blended gray paint in. Regular cheap glidden from Home Depot.

I would have never guessed that was plywood if I hadn't seen the before pic. Great finishing technique.
