Default Gas struts for cabinet doors

I have this TV cabinet on my back patio. Currently Iím using screen door latches to keep them open when itís windy but as I get older I ainít gonna want to climb up there and latch them. So I was thinking of installing some gas struts to hold them open.

How do you figure out what length is needed and where the best placement for them on the doors would be? And where and I find them along with the needed hardware?
