Anyone mountain bike in the DFW area?

Man I miss those DFW trails...second to only Austin IMO. Houston doesn't even come close

As soon as I get in better shape I will ride some. Rowlett Creek is where I mostly ride. Bad knees keep me from riding anywhere with lots of elevation (climbing). I love to trail ride in the woods.

I rode the beginner trail there a couple of years ago. Like to have killed me. Only 5 miles, but 1200 ft. climbing. None of the downhill lets you use the momentum to go back uphill.

I bought a specialized pitch 2 years ago for about $500. Good beginning bike and was at the suggestion of guy at bicycles inc.
