Bear Super Magnum 48", any of ya'll shot one?

I like the look of the Super Mag 48" recurve but am a little concerned about a bow that short stacking up. All said and done I do indeed have the normal 28" draw it just took months of getting my form solid to figure that out, don't laugh too hard.

Any of you shoot or have shot the 48"?

I have always wanTed to try one myself. I have a kodiak magnum that I use for bowfishing. It is a great shooting bow, amo 52 in.

28" is not a problem with those

I have shot one, but did not like it. There was nothing wrong with the bow. I just don't get along well with short bows.

I had one and didn't like it at all. I only have a 27" draw and it seemed to stack even at my short draw length. I sold it and got a Kodiak Magnum and liked it.

bought one 3 years ago, it doesn't stack, but my personal preference is that I don't like short recurves, great for hunting and ground blinds.....I won't buy anything less than 58'' from now on

This super mag was also on my list for my next bow after I retire this current bow.

I will check out this Texas Comanche though.

I want one as a truck bow. Around 40#. Use it to thump rabbits or other small game when I am busy doing work out at the lease. A longbow would be more ideal cause you could string it faster, but the problem with longbows are.... they are long.

Sam Stephens that used to be a regular here shot a good buck last year with one. I laughed pretty hard, he said he thought the bow was going to break during that hunt. He has a longer than 28" draw.
