    6.5 ABLR or Nosler Partition

Looking for some of either to load up for an elk trip. My .300 Win Mag is at the gunsmith and I'm trying to load up better bullets for my 6.5 prc than the 143 eldx I have loaded. Just need 20 or so (hopefully). Have stuff to trade. Powders, bullets etc.

Might could help you with 6.5 AB 140g but after use I’m not a fan of the ABLR on tough game

If you can't find what you are wanting, I have some 139 gr Scenar's.

        PM if interested

What was your experience with them and what was the tough game?

I’ve only killed axis with them but they flat hammer axis.

              150 ABLR out of 280AI

Had one come apart on an axis @ 225 yards, found him out of shear luck.

Most separated and failed to exit on WT but all were DRT or only went a short way.

Only the axis would be a failure IMO but just not what I prefer in bullet performance.

My oldest son still shoots them.

Thanks guys. Pm what you have and what you want for them. I really would like 140 partitions. Thanks.

140 or even the 130 AB would be fine for an elk.

That’s odd since they are a bonded bullet.

So far a couple of offers but no PM followup. At this point I plan to shoot elk with the 143 ELD X and hope for the best.

I've zero experience with them, but I've read the LR version is designed to expand at much lower velocity (thinner jacket maybe?) so when shot at closer ranges, obviously higher velocities, they break apart.

They do have a low velocity expansion threshold of a claimed 1300fps.

But still being a bonded bullet there shouldn’t be core/jacket separation.

Trash lol. Pickiest Bullet I’ve ever messed with too.

They are extremely finicky on seating depth but can be extremely accurate.

If I were expecting 400+ yard shots they would be my choice but inside of that I will give up BC for a tougher bullet.
