I knocked down a spike this morning, 12 yd shot my second Trad deer kill. Deer spun on me and shot it in the neck dropped like a lead balloon. Deer was quatering away and I may have pulled the shot, but I swear I saw him spin. Anyway he’s in my cooler, so I am pretty pumped. Gary is going to post the picture for me.

2021 Trad Harvest Thread
I got a huge doe this evening! She was 108# live weight, and that is big for around here. Shot her with my Primal Tech longbow, 46@29. She made it 80-90yds, and my dog Zeke went right to her!

I was in a tripod tucked into a big oak tree. Shot was about 12-13yds. The broadhead was a 150gr German Kinetic XL (1.5” wide).
And this is actually the fist critter I’ve killed with this longbow. I’ve taken a few with the heavier PT longbow and a bunch with the PT recurve.
