Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Christie McAninch,
owner of Big Racks Taxidermy. I specialize in mammals from shoulder mounts, wall pedestals, full pedestals, full body and european skulls mounts Big Racks Taxidermy has you covered. Located in Webster Tx, just between Houston and Galveston. I’m excited to see what 2021-22 hunting season holds in store. I’ll be posting photos and videos on this feed every week. Check out this big ole boar! I love the art of taxidermy, bringing the animal back to life is so satisfying to me. This customer kept the skull for a euro and also did a shoulder mount on the cape.

Just finished up this gorgeous velvet semi upright left turn axis wall pedestal a few days ago. Customer picked up last night. Check out the eye guards on this beast!

Never did a skull mount on a hog before. It looks like the teeth on this one are pulled out farther from where there naturally would have been. I basing this on the tooth stains. Is that correct or am I wrong? I may get a boar euro mounted next time I get a big one.

Yes, the teeth were pulled out a little further on the hog euro. The customer asked for them to be like that to make it look bigger and one of them had broke off.
