Back in college, I had several rattlesnakes as pets. Ranging from a couple of Pygmy rattlers to a 4’ diamondback. Yeah, I’m a little crazy. lol

I had two while in Odessa college. Would turn then lose on the baseball field from time to time......coach did not like that one bit

How many member keep snakes or reptiles as pets ?

Closest I ever got was a ball python slithered through my yard about 10 years ago. I know enough it wasn't native or venomous and caught it. Gave to a coworker that was big into snakes.

I had a couple dozen different species in college, from a big retic and Burmese, down to red tail boas and balls. Had a cool (but angry) emerald tree boa that liked to strike me.

There isn’t much I haven’t handled, venomous and non.

Used to catch corn, rats, kingsnakes and rattlers for trades with a few pet shops, plus we used to catch bulk snakes for sale to a pet food processing company.

Had a few monitors, iguanas and Pac-Man toads through the years, but currently just have a few dogs.
