    Hard Hat Lights

For you that wear hard hats at work, what flashlight do you recommend for your hard hat at night? I dropped and broke mine that I had and looking to buy another one but I need something brighter than the one I had.

I have one made by NightStick. It works good and is pretty bright.

Does it have to be intrinsically safe?

These work well and Pelican makes a nice one.

I have a Pro Tac HL by Streamlight.
If you shine it in your co-workers eyes, it will blind them!!

Fenix lights. I've got one of their head lights and two flash lights. Very bright and good battery life. Rechargeable lithium ion batteries.

I have a couple of the Nightsticks, but the springs that hold the batteries in them get weak and cause them to flicker or not work at all after awhile.

My favorite headlamps for hunting, etc. are Fenix, and I'll have to look into they're hard hat models.

Are any of these listed a simple one push of a button on and one push of the same button off?

My current and previous ones require several presses to go through the modes I don’t want to turn them off .

I don’t need 3 different brightness modes and a flashing mode.

                        Just -
                        ON
                        and
                        OFF

I work for a company that is setup direct with Fenix, Milwaukee, Streamlight and all others. We are a large supplier of all tooling and consumables for refineries. If anyone is looking for a good light we should have it in stock.

Nightstick XPP-5458G. It's an Intrinsically Safe light with multiple modes and light brightness levels. 3 AA batteries last quite a while.
