Floores Country Store was a great dancehall back in the day. It is OK as a concert venue. So many great dancehalls to list. But the small-town dance halls where the best.

    Schroeder Hall
    Quihi Gun Club
    Ed's River Palace
    Kendalia Hall
    The Cabaret in Bandera
    Arky Blues
    Copeland inn and Dance Hall
    The Wishing Well
    Kickers Palace
    Anhalt Dancehall
    Twin Sisters
    Blue Bonnet Palace
    The Cotton Club
    The Lumberyard (Round Rock)

I much prefer and always did prefer the old dancehalls/honky-tonk to the big city ones.

Last time I drove by 7/8 years ago wasn’t anything but a slab. Spent a lot of time there up until it closed, my parents were on Manvels VFD and they held all of the auctions there. Danced with a lot of girls that where way to pretty for me when I started goin as a teenager

Obviously you folks don't know honky-tonks because no one has mentioned the one and only Porter Lounge 😉🍻
