Name calling

Can two people with differing opinions have a decent conversation without resorting to name calling? I exspect better from this group. Some of yall I can see are just that way, but others really surprised me.

This community we have here is very special. I've prayed with complete strangers, had people I don't even know drive hundreds of miles to do a express for me and expected nothing in return.

The world around us is changing. I don't like it anymore than the next guy, but if we cant have a decent discussion we will all go down with the ship.

If you can't be a adult and have a conversation without resulting to name calling, then you're part of the problem and not the part of the solution.

I appreciate some good name calling when one is really frustrated but it doesn’t have a place on here in my humble onion. This is where I go to escape my frustrations and not escalate them. Some good ribbing is another matter entirely ��

Appreciate the sentiment - Name calling solves nothing and changes nothing. Being able to have a good discussion could prevent a lot of what’s wrong with the world.

I've been been on the Green screen for several years, and have sat back with my popcorn and read many post that went south quick, but in the end, IMO, nothing was accomplished. but I also agree there are some that need a swift kick in the can at times..

No, but is a little common courtesy too much to ask for? I realize this is a internet forum and that it kind of the norm, but TBH isn't your normal forum. I get it, sometime people say thing just to stir the pot. Heck, I've done that myself, but I can't recall ever calling someone a name.

Its not that I care, and it doesn't hurt my feeling none whatsoever but its not a productive conversation when people get down to that level. We should be able to disagree civilly.

Maybe if you/others could get it right when you do - but you don't. It seems anyone who doesn't agree with certain people or their views is a liberal, libtard, troll or whatever insult they favor at the time.

From what I can see on TBH, there may be a few Democrats but I haven't seen a post from anyone that I would assume is a crazy liberal. But even if there are, they have every right to share their opinions as well.

I hit the back button all the time. I wanted to start a separate thread to bring attention to a issue I'm starting to see more and more of. If this hits home with anyone and they see that it's a unproductive form of interaction with people then great.

The back button is also available to those that don't agree, but if it make you feel better about yourself to try and belittle me with your slander then I'm glade that I could help with boosting your self esteem.

That last comment was meant for the 10% that don't get it. Thanks to the 90% that do.
