Just to save someone a trip for nothing possibly I regret to say that we will be closing this Saturday and Sunday. We have never closed on Memorial weekend but our hands are tied due to lack of staffing.

Saturday is graduation and we will have 4 employees off for that all day. We had planned accordingly and had everything covered. And then a tragic event changed everything.

My kitchen manager and wife which also works here we’re on vacation all week last week in Florida. When they were driving back on Monday they were unable to reach their 21 year old daughter by phone. She had been ill so they called someone to go over there for a welfare check. There was no answer at the door but could be seen through the window slumped over on the couch. 911 was called and upon arrival they discovered her dead. She had been dead for about 6 hours. Our “ restaurant family” has been shaken by this and we ask for prayers for the Anderson family.

Everyone have a safe and joyous holiday with family or someone that you love. Lord knows that we are.

One thing I forgot to mention was that Sunday was their anniversary and she died Monday. Today is the younger daughters birthday. Not a lot to really celebrate right now.

Drugs are really dragging down this country!!!
My buddy Earle found his son sitting dead in a recliner, melted bowl of ice cream in his lap and a needle in his arm

Hopefully the family will find some comfort soon

I’m sure your not insinuating anything but just just speaking in general. I hope. This was not a drug related death. The exact circumstances will stay here but it was a medical issue that had been going on for a while.

Oh man Terry, just now seeing this!! I'm so very sorry brother! Through all this tragedy you can also know that the daughter of Mr./Mrs. Anderson is eternally healed from any and all medical issues! Mamma's and Daddies aren't supposed to have to bury their kids, and it is one of the hardest things they will ever do! Thank you sir for sticking by their side throughout this terrible event. They most certainly will need help and support from family and friends... Stick close to 'em Terry. Love on 'em. Please let me know if there is anything I can do... I've been in their shoes. If they'd like to talk, holler.

Lord receive this sweet young lady into Your Eternal Rest. Thank You Jesus that You have forever healed her and provided a place before You that she may rejoice forevermore. We ask Lord that in a way that only You can know and do, to bring comfort to this family. Show them that there can be peace in such a tragedy and begin the healing process quickly Lord. Give Mr. Anderson the strength to lead his family through this dark period and toward the Light, the Light that is You Lord that they may lean on You. Bring this family close together and surround them with friends that are drawn near. Lord I thank you for our brother Terry and his wife Glynda for their dedication to this family and for their support for them. Give the LeBlanc family wisdom and means to support the Andersons as they need it. In some great way Lord may You be glorified in this tragedy in a way that shows others that You are God Almighty and able to do all things.
