Seriously, check out this thread! We recently had a meet n greet at LeBlanc's Cajun Kitchen. It is the real deal... West of Livingston about 10 minutes or so in the little community of Blanchard on the lake.

If you're there multiple days, eat Leblanc's a few times, but dont miss out on the catfish at Floridas Kitchen!

LaBlanc’s imo is the best. There’s not many options for a place the size of Livingston.

I would also recommend Florida’s, Patron Grill, and Blue Duck.

Tried Florida's twice a couple years ago... Wife and I were "underwhelmed" to say the least...

I live in Livingston and I'm an expert at eating too much. Our favorites are LeBlanc's, Long Branch Steakhouse, and Patron's Grill. I used to like Florida's but the last couple of times I was in there it wasn't that great to be honest. ChaddyDaddy Brisket Bar is pretty dang awesome too.

You guys would probably know better than me, I grew up in Livingston/Onalaska and Floridas was always awesome.

That said, I haven't eaten there in probably 10 years or so, so I'd trust yalls opinion on that one

LeBlanc’s is fantastic.

Florida’s had the best onions on the planet at one time. Things may have changed though.

For that area, agreed and they offer the traditional cut or "thin" cut... I like both, but I think I prefer the thin cut once I've tried it 3 or 4 times...

For catfish a bit south of there, say 'round Moss Hill... can't beat Redd's!!

I've only had it once but that thin cut catfish is FANTASTIC! The voodoo shrimp is also awesome! Good food, location, and owner!

I could eat at LeBlancs every day. I had the grilled red snapper and creole sauce. It was great.

That snapper with the crawfish etouffee I think is still my favorite of all the dishes I've had there... Well that and voo doo skrimppies... (hard to pick just one!)

We had the thin cut at LeBlanc’s our last trip. It’s good stuff.

Chaddy Daddy is relocating to the old Hughes Catfish Inn building in Goodrich.

What happened to the Hughes Boys?

I worked with Todd back in the day, hung out with Scott and killed a metric ton of doves on that ranch along the river. Had some good duck hunts down there.

Hard to believe that river gave up one of the top 5 dove hunts of my life.

I really never knew any of them. One of there wives worked for me for about a year. She was a psycho.

I don't know about doves but one heck of a big gator was killed by Hughes granddaughter in a pond on that property.

I don't remember Todd being married. He almost got that way and kinda went south after that. Around that time he quit working for the SO and went to run the restaurant

Think that was Scott's daughter. I haven't talk to either since i got a picture of a deer Todd shot several years ago. Them doves may have been coerced or something. Couldn't beat them out of the place

Last I heard about Scott he was a constable or something in Polk County.

Definitely love to meet yall over there. He has some great stuff on the menu.

I don't know how I left Frankie off the list. He's a friend of mine and has a great diner. Pit Row Pit Stop is another good place to go and Frankie is adding on to it right now.
