My lovely bride got me hhis burner a couple years ago, and I started building the base and stuff a year or so back. But I didn't like it and quit on it for a while. Well I decided I don't want to start over, so I went ahead and finished it last night and Monday.

This little hootus will lock down with a pin, to hold the tank secure.
Those other little hook shaped hootuses on the legs are cradles that the disc nestles down into.
I welded a stud up at the top and built a bracket that will go over it, and the disk to secure it at the top. This is all in the name of giving it a smaller footprint in the back of the truck, garage, etc.

Even heat, with a larger sweet spot...is what I'm looking for with this. As well as getting the disc up to the right cooking height so as not to be hunched over while cookin cabbage. It just peeled off, and melted a chunk of skin around the base of the nail. Hurts though.......what a dumb ***......Comment
