[emoji51][emoji1787][emoji23] ... after a jacked up summer for both Fishndude and I healthwise, we finally got to hunt together after mine. Been awhile and the Panhandle did not disappoint
Helluva hunt out here as usual. This place was a welcome sight after poor dove numbers in Central Texas last weekend. Mourning dove were in lower numbers as we expected with 2 back to back fronts blowing through but the Eurasians were day savers! We left plenty for tomorrow so hopefully they cooperate. Thanks again FND!
44 birds between us. 29 Eurasians, 10 mourning, 3 whitewings, 1 squab. Gonna do it again tomorrow!
Day started pretty solid for me.
And got better with a few mourning dove trickling in. Need to cut back on some of the warning shots .[emoji1787][emoji23]
End of the day.... we called it quits a little early and hope to do it again tomorrow.
