Ginsburg is Dead

First off, may RGB rest in peace. I'm not going to speak ill of the dead. Although I didn't agree with her politics, she was an influential person.

However, is it just me, or does anyone else think this MSM story on the RGB's final dying wish full of it? I had a grandpa that died of complications from pancreatic cancer and even hours before he passed, he was heavily medicated on pain killers and blood pressure meds and could not speak. Seems like the memo got circulated to the typical people and the MSM reported it on a loop like a B-rated movie. Not to mention that even if RGB had a dying wish, it more than likely would have been family related, not political. I think the entire story is a load of garbage.

Now you have the likes of people like AOC stating that Trump is "playing with fire." Pelosi, said they have "more arrows in the quiver." Others are stating how the President is undermining the constitution although, that's a complete lie. You also have dem protestors showing up at the personal homes of Mitch McConnel and Lindsey Graham. These people are threatening violence over a potential supreme court nomination that is perfectly within the powers of the President and Senate. Heck, it probably could be argued that her seat should have been vacated months ago as I'm sure she hasn't had the mental capacity to truly serve as a Supreme Court Justice.

My opinion, President Trump should put out the nomination and the republicans in the Senate should ram this pick home. Why on earth should we play nice with these liberals. They are showing up at people's homes and threatening violence. That's not democracy. That's mob rule and intimidation. If the shoe were on the other foot, these liberals would be ramming a pick through telling the conservatives F-you the entire way.

What's even more ironic about this whole ordeal is supposedly, Obama did want RBG to step down and if that would have happened, we probably wouldn't even be talking about this today.

Maybe they all know Trump has the votes to be re-elected and they dont want to be on his bad side for the next 4 years. 4 years where he doesnt have to worry about being re-elected.

Whether that story is true or not is really irrelevant. Means absolutely nothing. I do have a feeling that the only goal of this story is to energize the Trump haters to get out and react.

It’s a done deal. Shouldn’t even be a topic of debate. Let the republicans nominate and appoint ASAP. Like next week if possible. Dems will have a chance to remind certain senators of their hypocrisy on Nov 3 so they should keep the powder dry and revisit the issue then. Also, my gut is telling me that Trumps going to lose (baring a flub by Biden in the debates) I think the polls are off some but not outside the margin of error. If Dems take the Senate and the WH, they 100% WILL get rid of the legislative veto, at that point Republicans May as well stay at home. They could add DC, PR, the VI’s and Guam as states, permanently adding at least 8 dem senators. That’s not even counting the states that are purple that will soon demographically flip blue in the next 4-10 years (CO, AZ, possible Texas etc). It’d give them a permanent majority in the senate and every republican president would catch Heck afterwards. It would be a lesson well learned from Mitch McConnell, if you have the power use it. And as he said, elections have consequences. I don’t think they’d be dumb enough to expand the SCOTUS.
