North..... To Alaska

[BLACKFINTURKEY]

‘‘Twas the day before we leave,
And all the bags are packed,
Headed to Alaska, maybe we’ll never come back,
Surely to miss Texas but the heat you can keep that,
Two weeks up north I won’t know how to act,
Hunting for giant halibut and salmon that’s a fact,
It’ll almost be bow season when I get back!

Tomorrow we leave for Alaska 7 day cruise and 3 days at the kingfisher lodge in Sitka chasing halibut, salmon, and king cod! I’ll try to keep y’all updated on how it’s going! My be hard to sleep tonight.

Yessuh! I am headed back up on September 3rd...…….the last 2 months have been tough after no chances on grizzly. At least I get to add a moose tag now.....lol!!!

If you stop in Juneau, go to Tracy’s for king crab legs. Helicopter ride in Juneau is awesome, we landed on glacier and did a dog sled ride.

We unfortunately are not doing the helicopter ride! Might have to check out Tracy’s.
