      You could also mop the top with some of that white rubberized cement or whatever it is the roofers use.

          Go to lowes or Home Depot and buy a 5 gallon bucket of RV resealant for $75 and a paint roller with a long handle climb on top and reseal it yourself for less than $100
          I did this last year to my leaking roof and have had no problems since!

            No, doubt the rubberized roll on roofing the is the easier and cheapest way to do it, assuming you have a metal roof. The nice thing about building the awning is it knocks the sun off and your AC doesn't' work near as hard. The white rubber roll of stuff helps a bunch also.

                I used a cheep mop and this silver tar like stuff that you can get at lows of Home Depot. Before I put the last cote on I ran some fiberglass tape down the seam lines and it sealed it up tight!
