              You can achieve the same results with a heat gun. I bought one 3 yrs ago that was all scratched to hell. I found a video on YouTube showing a process that included scratching it up further with fine sand paper and then hitting it with a heat gun. After I'd sanded it down I was SURE hoping the heat Gun would fix it. It actually looked great!

                            In the hardware stores around here, it's right next to the paint thinner, acetone, and mineral spirits.
