Angle Help

So I am working on a project and I figured out the angle I need the board to make, but I need the angle I have to cut the board to get that angle. It is coming off a straight vertical board 90 degrees. It has to make a 35 degree inside angle. Clear as mud.

If you want it mitered, it will need to be 35, the other end would be 55. Will need length of other two boards to determine length of that board or just measure. I think, but I have only had one cup of coffee.

My thought is 55 degrees to complete the right angle but my son says that is wrong.

So just cut the board to the angle you need? That makes it simple LOL!
