We feed a lot of birds up here in Iowa. We go thru over 50lbs of seed and a lot of suet each week.
We have goldfinch, purple finches, juncos, cardinals, bluejays, house finches, red bellied woodpeckers, downy woodpecker, nut hatches, kestrels. In the spring robins, blue birds, black capped chickadee, tufted titmouse, red wing black birds and barn swallows. We keep a bird bath heater in the fountain to keep it thawed.
We also have hawks, owls and bald eagles but they don't generally come near the feeders.

I was on 820 north of Fort Worth yesterday. I watched a robin flying over (pretty high up)- all the sudden he does a nose dive and falls on the interstate. He was laying on his back stone dead/ not moving anyway. Picked up a 30 pound bag of seed before I got home. Also raked out snow on a large area on my lawn.
