I stopped by Brush To Bay Outfitters to visit with Tim Layton about these two 2019 bows from Mathews Archery, Inc. Watch this video to find out which one I'll be shooting in 2019 and why I chose one over the other.

What is your favorite bow model for 2019? Why?

I picked the Traverse. Lights out shooter. balances well, shoots good, nice ata length to it. it also increased my arrow speed from 278 fps to 305 fps

I have the Vertix. Great shooter for sure. I am pleased with how its performance is. Did some 60 yard shooting Saturday and held a good 6'' group with a 8-10mph crosswind. One thing for sure, it is dead in the hand and the quietest bow I've ever shot.

Why? Because it's the Indian not the arrow.

Why? Because it's the Indian not the arrow.

Nothing wrong with that way of thinking. Had my Elite Pulse since 12/10. But sometimes the Indian, likes to treat himself to a new “arrow”...for another 8 year run.[emoji16]. It’s my main hobby along with dove hunting so why not....
