I knew it was gonna happen.
When I first started working here in 2019 web access was blocked to certain sites. Then about a year ago, there went "youtube", blocked!

Well, they iniated a new update effective at noon today.

And yep, you guessed it. No more TBH on the work computer!

Not going to put in my 2 wks til I figure out how to filter out employees that block hunting sites, on "Indeed".

Looks like there'll be a permanent phone charger kept in my office from now on.

A lot of companies lock down hunting, shooting, gun websites etc.
But they will still let you go to CNN. Go figure.

But, I rarely use my work laptop for anything personal except a couple news sites.

I may be the only person at AA perusing TBH, so I think I'm good for now.

I did find it funny I was able to use the work computer for our TBH group's first poker night. A week later for the 2nd game, I could not. lol.

I keep a cheap laptop on my desk for my personal business. My boss once asked me what that was all about. I told him I didn’t want our corporate cyber storm troopers seeing what I was doing. He let it go.

No, not through their network, still going through the DMZ/firewall where it is probably blocked. Like said above, have to bribe the network IT guy. Be amazed how easy it is ;-) Think I did it for some extra RAM a few years back. Still open, but limit my time on here at work.
